"Alhamdulillah, the marriage ceremony took place in one of the mosques in Purwokerto. It was attended only by family and close friends, 100 people with 50 people inside the mosque and 50 people at the reception hall," said Reza in a virtual interview on Sunday (17/1).

1. Because of Face Shield

In order to ensure the smoothness of the wedding ceremony, this 31-year-old man revealed that he had been practicing for months. However, it seems that he still couldn't hide his nervousness.

"If you ask me if I was really nervous, I've been memorizing it for months. I was a little nervous earlier because I was wearing a face shield, so I was afraid that my speech wouldn't be clear because the microphone was outside instead of inside, so there was one repetition," he said.

Regarding the concept of clothing worn at the moment of their wedding ceremony, Reza Zakarya mentioned that he and Valda agreed to choose Arab nuances as the overall theme.

"As for the clothing, we use a designer from Solo, so Vitria handles it and the style she wears is Moroccan style with a gown. This is a Saudi prince and it is imported directly from Saudi Arabia, so we decided to strengthen the Arab elements in this wedding ceremony because we are also descendants of Arab congregation," explained the Runner Up of DA Asia 3.
