The relaxed atmosphere is evident as Arbil Asahan and Yusuf Donggala, two participants of D'Academy 7, chat on the BF Dangdut program. They both share their experiences in adapting to the strict rules while living in the dormitory, from the strict 10 PM bedtime, the fun times with friends, to the longing for family. Arbil revealed that he and Yusuf have been close since the beginning. "Even moving rooms is still fun, Yusuf is a nice and exciting person," he said.
Yusuf responded with similar praise. "Arbil is also fun, really in sync with me," said Yusuf with a smile.
When asked about their daily conversations, Arbil admitted that they often share food, chat casually, and even occasionally gossip together.
It turns out that the strict rules in the dormitory are quite a challenge for Arbil. "Sleeping at 10 PM is hard, especially when alone without a phone. It feels really boring," he complained.
Unlike Arbil, Yusuf admitted that he has never felt any sadness. "I often just laugh with my friends, so I just enjoy it," he said.
When asked about their target in the competition, both were united in wanting to be in the top 3 of DA7. Arbil and Yusuf are focused on maintaining their health, attitude, and consistent practice.
However, in order to achieve their goals in the competition, they suppress their longing for their hometown.
Arbil admits to missing his parents and pets at home, while Yusuf misses his school friends and family.
Despite the strict rules and holding back feelings of longing, the excitement remains. Starting from gathering in the room, joking around, to refreshing together at Dufan to clear their minds amid the heat of competition.
