As the Champion of Bintang Pantura 6, Findi Wants to Build a House for His Parents

Kapanlagi.com - Livia Findi Artika or commonly known as Findi has been chosen as the champion of Bintang Pantura 6. In the victory concert held on Monday (18/10) night, the woman from Lampung received the highest number of votes among the three grand finalists. She received 35.27 percent of the votes.

The participant from Lampung received the most votes compared to her two competitors, Via (Kubu Raya) and Desofi (Bandung), who received 32.54 percent and 32.19 percent of the votes respectively.

This victory is certainly a pride for Findi. Because previously, she experienced failure when participating in LIDA 2019. Finally, Findi tried her luck in Bintang Pantura 6.

“Because I previously participated in LIDA 2019 but only made it to Top 48. Findi is basically a Pantura-style singer. Findi wants to explore her abilities further. She is more curious about her own abilities, that's why she joined Bintang Pantura,” said Findi during a virtual interview on Monday (25/10).

1. Likes Dangdut Since the Age of 5

Findi also told that since the age of 5, she has been able to sing dangdut songs because her parents introduced her to it.

"I like singing dangdut since the age of 5 because my parents are musicians too. I enjoy listening to my mother sing and my father play the flute. Why do I like dangdut songs? It's because I listen to dangdut songs in my daily life, it's already attached to me," said Findi.

Although she comes from Lampung, she is familiar with Pantura songs. This is because many people in her environment come from Java.

"If we talk about Pantura music in 2021, it is more related to Java. I am originally from Lampung, but many people in my environment are Javanese, so I don't have difficulty in speaking Javanese or a little bit of Sundanese. The difficulty might be for those who are new to it, but if you have the intention to learn and make an effort, we can definitely do it," she explained.

2. Gifts for Parents

Succeeding as the champion of Bintang Pantura 6, Findi received a prize of hundreds of million rupiah. From that money, she wants to build a more decent house for her parents.

“I want to give the prize to my mother and father. Findi also wants to build a more decent house for her parents, siblings, and to add to their capital,” she concluded.
