Ayu Ting Ting Enthusiastically Participates in the 2020 Regional Election, Hoping for Depok to Progress

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Ayu Ting Ting participated in the 2020 Depok regional election. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the mother of one remained enthusiastic about participating in the 2020 election. As proof, Ayu Ting Ting voted for one of the Depok city candidates.

"I never abstain from voting, Alhamdulillah. Regardless, my father always said that we should never abstain from voting because one vote is very valuable and decisive. So, we didn't abstain," said Ayu Ting Ting in Depok, West Java, on Wednesday (9/12/2020).

1. Different From Previous Years

Ayu Ting Ting said that the 2020 regional elections are very different from previous years. Because it is still in a pandemic situation, this year's regional elections feel quiet.

"Yes, it's different, maybe in previous years it was more lively, more enthusiastic, more felt. Maybe there were parades or something. But now there is none. So it's just quiet," said Ayu Ting Ting.

2. Not Willing to Abstain

Every time there is a political event, Ayu Ting Ting is one of the artists who always voices her right to vote.

"Yes, my father never abstains, whatever it is, he has to vote, don't let it be otherwise," Ayu Ting Ting concluded.

3. Hope

As a resident of Depok, Ayu Ting Ting hopes that the city will become more advanced after having a new leader.

"I hope that Depok will become more advanced, have more social activities that are better in the future, and be more successful," concluded Ayu Ting Ting.
