Ayu Ting Ting Prohibited from Dating, Bilqis: Just Have a Sibling, No Need for a Father

Recently, Ayu Ting Ting was met at DeHalu Cafe, Jatiwaringin, Bekasi, on Saturday (9/8/2020). When asked about her ex-boyfriend, she admitted that she never intended to reconcile.

"For me, getting back together seems unlikely. I'm not the type who finishes things and then gets back together. But I don't know about fate, I never know. Let's just go with the flow, what's important to me is that I don't close my heart to anyone, whoever wants to get close to me, I always feel comfortable. We will definitely see how it goes first," said Ayu.

1. No Dating Allowed

This single mother admits that her daughter, Bilqis, now forbids her from dating. Previously, her daughter expressed a desire to have a father.

"Bilqis, when I ask her if I can have a boyfriend or not, she answers no. She has changed her mind, children are like that, I don't understand. Before, she wanted to have a father, but now she says 'no, mommy cannot date'. So, now she is very protective of me, maybe because she is growing up," she said.

Furthermore, Ayu mentioned that Bilqis has become possessive towards her.

"Sometimes, when I come home from work, I cannot go anywhere else, I have to go straight home. Because she immediately calls, monitors, video calls me and says 'show me the way, show me where you are'. So I can't go out anymore, even though luckily I'm not the type who likes to go out, so when I come home from work, I always go straight home. She really needs me at this age, she is very protective. But she wants to have a sibling but doesn't want to have a father, how can that be," she explained.

3. Wanting to Have a Sibling

Knowing her child's nature, Ayu admitted that she had convinced her child to give her a chance to find a partner. However, Bilqis admitted that she would rather have a sibling than a father.

"But I always explain to her, that 'later if we have a father, we can have another sibling' like that. 'No need, just have a sibling, no need to have a father.' What do you think about that? If she doesn't want me to date now, I'm not allowed," she concluded.
