Ayu Ting Ting Reveals the Reason for Moving to Jakarta, No Longer the Queen of Depok

Ayu Ting Ting finally speaks up about the news of her move from Depok to Jakarta. The dangdut singer known for the song Alamat Palsu confirmed that she has started occupying her house in Jakarta after netizens on Threads and TikTok discussed her status as the Queen of Depok.

This clarification was made by Ayu through Qissyou TV, her YouTube channel, after she watched several funny videos made by netizens about her move. "So, I moved yesterday before Bilqis started school, I moved to Jakarta. So, the house in Jakarta has actually been there for a long time, Qissyou, but I just hadn't had the chance to occupy it," said Ayu.

In the video, Ayu is seen laughing while watching various netizen content before providing a detailed explanation, including the reason she chose to start living in the Jakarta house that has been prepared for a long time.

Ayu emphasized that the Jakarta house is not a new thing for her. The residence has been prepared for quite some time, but she had not occupied it yet as she was waiting for the right moment for the family. She decided to start living there just before her daughter Bilqis's new school year.

"Because the intention was to wait until Bilqis started middle school, you know. And thank God, it’s already time for Bilqis to go to middle school, so I started occupying that house and began moving to the Jakarta house, you know," she continued.

This plan also helps organize the family's daily activity patterns. Ayu mentioned that her work schedule and Bilqis's school needs were the main considerations. She began her stay in the Jakarta house just before Bilqis entered middle school.

Previously, news of Ayu moving to Bintaro triggered various reactions on social media. Ayu herself presented it on Qissyou TV as part of the context of her explanation to her fans.

2. Not Completely Moving from Depok

Although she has started living in her Jakarta house, Ayu emphasizes that she is not leaving Depok entirely. The house in Depok still exists and functions as usual.

"But it's not like a total move. There are still many things here, you know. Because it's impossible to bring everything there, there are definitely a lot of items that need to be taken. Most of the important things are Bilqis's," Ayu explained.

She only brought essential needs to make daily activities easier, especially Bilqis's school supplies. Other items remain in Depok so the transition process can proceed without haste.

On the other hand, Ayu mentioned that her routine of returning to Depok continues. On weekends, she makes time to go back to her house in Depok, indicating that this move is practical for daily needs, not a complete relocation.

3. Closer to Bilqis' School and Work

Ayu's decision to stay in Jakarta is linked to time efficiency. The distance to her workplace and Bilqis' school is the main reason so that their days are not spent in transit.

"And coming home from work is also closer, you know. And Bilqis' school is also much closer. The reason for moving to Jakarta is that, you know. To be closer," she explained.

Ayu described the situation if she were to continue living in Depok. Departure times would have to be moved earlier and the family would need to start their activities early in the morning to avoid traffic jams.

"Because from Depok it takes time, you know. From there, Bilqis leaves for school very early in the morning. It's still around half past 6, you know. If you go past that time, the traffic is already very congested. So you have to leave early too. Especially if we stay in Depok, you know. So I chose to live in Jakarta because I also feel sorry for Bilqis," said Ayu.

Regarding distance and mobility, Ayu admitted she is already accustomed to a work rhythm that requires her to move cities. "For us, we are used to it, we have been working for several years now going back and forth between Jakarta and Depok. I also take on Jakarta-Bandung, hehehe. So that's the explanation for why I moved, because I follow Bilqis to school," she concluded.
