1. Parents Disapprove

At the beginning of her career, Inul Daratista was known for her energetic stage performances and her dance moves. Her appearance was considered sexy. In reality, that was what initially made Inul's parents disapprove of her becoming a dangdut singer.

"With me having such a distinctive characteristic, such a style. An Inul Daratista singing dangdut is sexy. Yes, that's really me, even though my parents didn't approve of me singing dangdut," explained Inul.

2. Associated with Dancing

Inul revealed that her father indeed did not approve of her becoming a dangdut singer. Especially since this genre of music is associated with dancing.

"It's true, my father really didn't approve of me entering the music world, especially dangdut, with its sensual dance moves. I also thought that my father wouldn't approve. My father is also an imam at the mosque, so it's impossible for him to support his child becoming a dangdut singer. So my father didn't approve," explained Adam Suseno's wife.

3. Never Been Delivered to Perform

Although not fully supported, Inul continues her determination to pursue a career as a dangdut singer. Unfortunately, in the midst of Inul's success, her father had to leave forever. The mother of one child revealed that her father had never even accompanied her to perform on stage until his passing.

"That's why until my father passed away, he had never accompanied Inul Daratista to sing on stage, never," she concluded.
