Guyon Waton is an acoustic dangdut music group from Yogyakarta, Faisal Bagus Ibrahim or commonly called Bagol is the vocalist. It turns out that there is a sad story behind his current success. He once lived alone because his mother and father went to work abroad. This was conveyed in a podcast on the MORE-TV YouTube channel.
Faisal Bagus was left by his mother to become a migrant worker when he was 1.5 years old. Until now, he has never met his mother in person, so for approximately 24 years, he has lived without his mother.
His father also went abroad when Bagus was five years old. Then his father returned when Bagus was in sixth grade.
Bagus was raised by his aunt and uncle while his mother and father were away. However, after his father returned, he lived with his father.
In a MORE-TV podcast, Bagus explained that his relationship with his mother is good, and they often do video calls and exchange messages.
Bagus admitted that he has asked his mother to come home hundreds of times. However, his mother still feels more comfortable working abroad.
He admitted that he has never had a moment with his mother and really wants to meet her.
