"Indeed, I teach about mentality. Mentality must always be trained. But what I like about Chelsea is her extraordinary spirit. At that time, we thought that 'this is just a little kid, probably forgets what she says', but over time she always proves it. It seems like this child is really serious," said Soimah.
Although Chelsea's vocals are not yet perfect, Soimah is very proud of her student's progress. In fact, she called Chelsea one of her special students.
"If Chelsea is one of the special students, it's because of her incredible personal struggle. Behind that, there must be extraordinary strength and abilities that may not have been seriously developed until now," she said.
"So even though she succeeded, it's not because of me or anyone else, but because of her determination, her extraordinary spirit, because it's not easy to become an artist," she continued.
In addition, in the same opportunity, Chelsea Tilford also explained that Soimah is a strict vocal teacher. Therefore, Chelsea admitted that she was afraid of being scolded by Soimah if she made mistakes during vocal training.
"Her teaching is tough, I'm afraid of singing the wrong notes and getting scolded," Chelsea Tilford concluded.
