Chronology of Didi Kempot's Death, Passed Away Shortly After Being Taken to the Hospital

Kapanlagi.com - The entertainment world is mourning once again. The legendary musician, Didi Kempot, has returned to the embrace of the Almighty. Didi passed away at the age of 53. He took his last breath shortly after being taken to the hospital. Read the full chronology below. 

1. Project with Yuni Shara

Some time ago, Didi was involved in a project with Yuni Shara. As reported by Yuni's Youtube, they recorded separately. A week ago, they even released the song Kapusan Janji on Youtube. 

2. Busy Recording

The project seems to still be ongoing, until Monday (4/5) night. At least, that's what Lilik, Didi Kempot's sibling, revealed in an interview with Kompas TV.

"We were preparing a song together with Yuni Shara last night," he said.

3. Complaining of Illness

While recording in the studio, this musician who has created thousands of songs complained of feeling sick and overheated.

"Last night he complained, 'Why is it so hot?'", explained Lilik. The figure known as the Lord of Broken Heart also admitted to having shortness of breath and looking weak in the studio.

4. Taken to the Hospital

The man from Solo, Central Java, was then taken to the Kasih Ibu Hospital. According to David, the hospital's spokesperson, Didi arrived at the hospital around 07:30 AM.

"(Didi arrived at the hospital) at 07:30 this morning, sir," he said when contacted by Kapanlagi on Tuesday (5/5).

As reported by Vidio.com, Didi arrived at the hospital unconscious.

5. Passed Away at 07.45 WIB

Furthermore, David revealed that the Lord of Broken Heart took his last breath at 07.45 WIB. "Around 07.45," he explained briefly. Didi Kempot passed away shortly after being taken to the hospital.

6. Taken to the Funeral Home

David himself also revealed that Didi's body is still in the hospital. He refused to comment on when Didi's body will be taken to the funeral home.

"I can't answer that yet," he said.

7. Suspected Heart Attack

Until now, the cause of Didi Kempot's death has not been confirmed. As reported by vidio.com, the musician who was enthusiastic about promoting regional music is suspected to have died from a heart attack.
