"The government should not underestimate it, this is already a global issue, if other countries have been taking good care of their country, Indonesia should not take it lightly either, because corona has infected more than 6000 people, with more than 3000 deaths, and WHO has declared it as a high and the highest danger for China. Clearly, this means we must increase our awareness of corona, don't underestimate it," he said when met in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, Monday (2/3).

Rhoma has been actively following the development of Corona since the virus first spread and claimed thousands of lives in China. He urged people to increase their vigilance.

"Recently, there were 2 people in Depok, a mother and child. There might be many more undetected cases, we don't know. I heard the news, whether it's a hoax or not, in Central Java there was a death in a hospital, I've seen it on social media," he added.

"The key is to continue increasing our vigilance so that we won't get infected," he concluded.
