Danang Pradana Announces the Gender of His Future Baby, Reveals Due Date & Chosen Delivery Process

"Alhamdulillah the mitoni ceremony and seven-month thanksgiving is complete. A happy day for us with the Javanese Mitoni ceremony. It started with gratitude through a religious gathering followed by the mitoni ceremony according to its steps. Today, my wife’s pregnancy and the gender of the baby, which is a girl, were also announced," said Danang when met in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (18/5/2025).

Previously, many netizens guessed the gender of their baby, and Danang admitted that he already knew but wanted to announce it during the event. He chose to take inspiration from female characters in wayang stories to exemplify hope for their baby.

"Netizens guessed whether it was a girl or a boy. The result is a girl, thank God, in line with my experience in the program, I took inspiration from wayang which has female characters. Then I took a coconut, whether it’s a boy or a girl, it’s a girl. We already knew but we just informed today," said Danang.

Meanwhile, the wife stated that they do not mind the gender, what matters is a healthy and intelligent baby. This statement reflects their open-mindedness and focus on the health of their child.

"If hope does not concern gender, it’s the same whether a boy or a girl, as long as they are healthy and smart," said Hemas.

Danang also emphasized that this pregnancy did not go through a special program, but is purely the will of Allah. He hopes that the baby his wife is carrying will grow up healthy and normal. "From the beginning of the examination, there was indeed no special program, purely from Allah, insya Allah healthy," Danang revealed.

The condition of Hemas's pregnancy is also receiving attention from doctors, who state that the baby's development is going well and according to the gestational age. This makes Danang and his wife feel calm as they approach delivery.

"Every month the last examination yesterday after it was known that the woman, the development of Nura's pregnancy is good according to her age and weight," explained the obstetrician.

The estimated due date or HPL for the baby falls in July or August. Danang revealed that the delivery process could be done normally or via cesarean depending on Hemas's health condition later. "HPL is in July or August. Normal or cesarean depends on the condition of the pregnancy later," said Danang.
