D'Deolotion Academy Contest Takes Place with Great Fanfare, Let's Take a Look Back at the Excitement of the Semifinal to Final Rounds

Kapanlagi.com - After going through a series of online preliminary rounds, the D'Deolotion Academy Powered by Rexona karaoke contest finally entered the offline elimination round in Jakarta with the top 12 participants being tested in two rounds. In the semifinals, a total of 12 participants from various cities in the country showcased their singing skills and competed to become the top 3 finalists.

Not holding back, the D'Deolotion Academy semifinals brought in three famous judges, namely Aulia DA, Faul LIDA, and Bertha McCarthy. The combination of these three judges was made difficult by the exceptional quality of the participants.

The D'Deolotion Academy semifinals lasted for 3 days, from April 24-26, 2022. In this semifinal round, there were 4 participants each day competing for 1 ticket to the final round, which will be held on April 27, 2022.

The three finalists who made it through successfully gave their all and made the judges confused in determining the winner. Tight Competition in the First Semifinal, Rima Advances to the Final Round

The first semifinal round of the D'Deolotion Academy was opened by the performances of the four semifinalists who showcased their outstanding vocal quality. The four finalists are Eri Heriyana, Rohmadona Damayanti, Pino Wiki Wijaya, and Rima Nikmatul.

In this semifinal round, each participant sang three songs consisting of their own choice, the Deolotion Diolesin jingle, and a challenge song from the jury.

Eri Heriyana opened the first day of the semifinals with an attractive performance singing the song Air Mata Darah popularized by Rhoma Irama. Although judge Aulia DA noticed Eri's mistake in the lyrics, Faul LIDA responded to the comment stating that Eri's performance was very stylish.

Not wanting to be outdone, the second participant, Rohmadona Damayanti, delivered an emotionally draining performance through the legendary song Secawan Madu. The jury then challenged the woman from Jogja to sing the song Konco Mesra. Mbak Bertha stated that Rohmadona's performance was stable enough and had good delivery.

The first semifinal was closed with a special performance by Pino Wiki Wijaya from Lampung and Rima Nikmatul from Malang. As the last performer, both of them successfully captivated the jury with their attractive vocal and choreography.

After careful consideration by the jury, Rima Nikmatul won the first semifinal. The participant from Malang is entitled to enter the final round and compete for the grand prize.

Abdul Aziz Successfully Dominates the Second Day of Semifinals with Legendary Songs from Rhoma Irama to Meggy Z

After a hot first day, the second day of semifinals presented a fierce competition. Four participants competed for one final ticket, namely Abdul Aziz, Puspita Lestari, Doa Ayu Septasari, and Pitria Ulfa.

Interestingly, this semifinal round was dominated by female participants who were able to deliver excellent performances in singing hit songs. Like Puspita Lestari who was able to make Faul LIDA sing while performing the single Selamat Malam popularized by Evi Tamala.

The second performer, Doa Ayu Septasari, from Solo, successfully delivered Elvi Sukaesih's song Bimbang to the maximum level. Without hesitation, Mbak Bertha was captivated by the enchanting vocals of Doa Ayu.

The second day of the semifinals also featured Pitria Ulfa from Bandung singing the song Egois by Lesti Kejora. This performance impressed the judge Aulia DA with the high notes sung by Pitria.

Although the above three participants were dominant, Abdul Aziz from Tegal successfully made it to the final round. He performed legendary songs such as Tajamnya Cinta by Meggy Z and Haruskah Berakhir by Rhoma Irama.

Participants Invite Judges and Audience to Dance in the Third Day of Semifinals

If the first and second days of the semifinals showcased heart-wrenching performances, on the third day, the four participants performed expressively with their signature songs.

The three judges praised the participants for their performances. The first participant, Aidil Al Rasyid, impressed Aulia and Faul with his vocal quality. In addition to performing the theme song from D'Deolotion Academy, Aidil sang the songs Nyanyian Rindu by Evi Tamala and Fatwa Pujangga by Said Effendi.

The second participant, Yunita Yitnaningrum from Bandung, also received praise. She captivated Mbak Bertha with her timbre. Yunita sang the songs Kejora by Lesti and Aku Rindu Padamu popularized by Evi Tamala.

The judges also praised the third and fourth participants, Indah Violleta and Nurul Annisa. Openly, Faul LIDA praised the choreography and dance performed by Indah Violleta when she sang the song Masa Lalu by Inul Daratista. Meanwhile, the fourth participant, Nurul Annisa, captivated Aulia DA with the emotions conveyed when she sang the song Cintai Aku Karena Allah.

Finalists Showcase Best Performances in Grand Final Round

The long-awaited moment finally arrived, which was the Grand Final Night of D'Deolotion Academy Powered by Rexona, held via live streaming on Vidio on Wednesday (27/04/2022). In this event, there were 3 finalists competing to showcase their best performances, namely Abdul Azis (Tegal), Aidil (Medan), and Rima (Malang). Their performances would be directly judged by the jury panel that had joined, namely Fildan who was the champion of D'Academy 4, Indra Aziz who was known as a vocal coach, and the Brand Ambassador of Rexona, Via Vallen.

The first participant to perform was Abdul Azis, who sang the song titled Citra Cinta. His soft vocal character made all three judges agree that this finalist had a great performance. Next, the second participant to perform was Aidil with his flagship song, Keramat. His performance received praise because Aidil looked very passionate about the song popularized by Rhoma Irama. Finally, the judges were amazed by Rima's performance singing the song Ilalang. All three finalists admired the beautiful voice and stable intonation of the finalist from Malang.
