Dewi Perssik Previously Contracted Covid-19, Body and Face Turned Red

Kapanlagi.com - Surprising news came from Dewi Perssik who revealed that she had actually contracted Covid-19. Thankfully, her condition is now good and she has recovered from Covid after two tests, both of which came back negative.

"Many people have been asking where I've been for the past month since they haven't seen me on @pagipagiambyarttv. I also haven't been active on YouTube. I was sick with Covid-19. Alhamdulillah, Allah gave me the opportunity to get better and now I have recovered. I am one of the lucky ones to have recovered. I have tested negative twice, alhamdulillah. And now I am fully recovered and in the recovery phase," wrote Dewi Perssik on Instagram, Thursday (24/12/2020).

Dewi Perssik's condition when she contracted Corona turned out to be quite severe. Apparently, red rashes appeared on her body and face. The singer shared how her body condition was initially still covered in red rashes, which have gradually disappeared.

"So, this redness is one of the symptoms that appear in about 20% of those who contract Covid. This serves as a reflection for all of us and a reminder for me to repent for my sins, and that Covid is real. I have shared my experience on YouTube. At least I didn't become a killer spreading the virus everywhere. Because besides being contagious, Covid is also deadly. The symptoms I experienced were mild, but the more dangerous ones are asymptomatic carriers. They still feel healthy and can transmit the virus, especially to elderly parents and those with underlying health conditions, and those with weakened immune systems. Maybe because I had a busy schedule, I ended up getting exhausted and contracting Covid-19," said Dewi Perssik.

2. Hoping Everything Stays Healthy

Dewi Perssik also expressed her gratitude to the people who have helped her during her struggle with Covid. She also reminded everyone not to neglect the health protocols in the midst of this pandemic in order to protect themselves from contracting Covid-19.

"I want to thank the police/military officers, doctors/nurses who are just like us, who have children, husbands, wives, and families who love and wait for them to come home healthy. But in order to protect us... they always stand at the forefront for us. May Allah repay the kindness of these community fighters. May this pandemic end soon and may all my IG friends always be healthy under the protection of Allah, amen yarobbal alamin. Please follow the security protocols to protect us, which are you, me, and us," she concluded.
