Dewi Perssik Says Her Marriage to Angga is the Result of Taaruf, True Nature Revealed After the Akad

"I really don't like talkative men, bun," said Depe.

"Why did you marry him?" Maia asked.

"Aa wasn't like that before, bun. I only found out in the second or third year, now it's like 'Oh, this person is talkative'" explained Depe.

This is what makes Depe feel uncomfortable in her marriage. Especially since Angga always asks for attention, while she works hard every day and often forgets to eat.

Depe considers her lack of knowledge about Angga's personality as an effect of the taaruf process she went through. "So, there are pros and cons to getting married through taaruf," said Depe.

"Yes. So, the con is that I don't fully understand him," Depe explained.

"You don't need to be a man who just met him, even I, as a child, already understand what he wants," Maia replied.

Seeing the problem between Depe and Angga, Maia realizes that the married couple of 4 years needs to recalibrate. Depe and Angga need to align their thoughts and communication methods, and the dangdut singer needs to be more patient.
