Saipul's lawyer, Farhat Abbas, clarified the matter. Farhat denied any ban from the KPI regarding his client's appearance in public.
"I want to clarify that there is no ban from the KPI stating that Bang Ipul cannot appear anywhere, that is not true. Our team has met with the KPI and the KPI has apologized, and the one-sided conversation from the KPI's deputy chairman is just one-sided," said Farhat Abbas at the Jakarta Metro Police, Monday (8/11/2021).

According to Farhat, the KPI has clarified that his client can still appear on television. He hopes that this opinion does not need to be exaggerated. Moreover, Saipul has already served his sentence.
"Anyone who has gone through the legal process is not prohibited from appearing on television, and anyone who defames and prohibits in the name of the KPI can be reported for criminal offenses," he said.
"Bang Ipul wants his livelihood not to be disturbed. They should not seek a livelihood by disturbing others," concluded Farhat Abbas.
