Erie Suzan and Beniqno Release Minang Language Duet Single 'Janji Cinto' After Decades of Friendship

Erie and Beniqno have been known to be friends since the beginning of their career. And from that friendship, they had the initiative to make a duet collaboration.

As is known, Beniqno has Minang blood, while Erie Suzan's voice is distinctive with Malay style. So far, they have covered several Minang language songs that have received positive responses from fans and music lovers in general.

Building on that positive response, they finally agreed to release a Minang language single. After going through a long brainstorming process, they created a single titled Janji Cinto which was released under the Milana Musik Nusantara label.

Janji Cinto was written by Roza'c Tanjung, a famous composer who had previously created various hit songs such as Setia Untuk Selamanya, Cinta Sampai Mati, Manunggu Janji and many others.

For Erie and Beniqno, Roza'c Tanjung is not a stranger, because all the Minang cover songs they have performed before are his works, such as Anugerah Cinta, Samo-Samo Rindu, Jangan Pergi, Talambek Datang 2 and Satu Rasa, Satu Cinta.

Erie Suzan, who was born in Pekalongan, has collaborated with many other top singers throughout her career, such as Iyet Bustami, Iis Dahlia, Evie Tamala, Ike Nurjanah, and many others. Erie also won the AMI AWARD in 2011 & 2018.
