Dangdut singer Erie Suzan until now still doesn't want to end her single life. Even though she is now over forty years old and it is known that Erie Suzan has a boyfriend who has been in a relationship with her for 11 years.
Apparently, Erie Suzan herself admitted that she is still not ready to get married. Her fear is certainly not without reason. It turns out that her friend's experience is one of the things that influenced her.
"Yes, indeed, many of my friends have experienced that too. They used to say, 'I got married because I found compatibility' or 'I was really compatible with him' but after getting married, 'I'm not compatible, I want to separate' and so on," said Erie Suzan when met in Cikini, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (20/8) afternoon.
"Yes, it does have some influence, like, 'yes, this is all sweet and suddenly we're getting divorced,'" she continued.
However, Erie Suzan realizes that everyone has their own life path. She also feels that what happens to others will not necessarily happen to her.
"But actually, my benchmark is not like that, because everyone's life path is different. I also don't know where my life is going," she said.
When asked further, the singer of the song Gerimis Melanda Hati revealed that she had a dream of getting married at the age of 20. Unfortunately, the plan did not go as Erie had hoped.
"I had a target when I was young, in high school, 'oh I think I want to get married at the age of 20. And I want to marry the person who is my boyfriend, not someone else,' but life doesn't work like that, it's not what we want. Sometimes we are faced with bitter things, beyond our desires. In the end, it made me understand more about life ahead," she explained.
Furthermore, Erie Suzan still hopes to get married and have children with her future life partner.
"Definitely (want to get married). As a human being, as a woman, I really want to be called a wife, want to have children, experience pregnancy, you know. However, it all depends on what's above," she said.
As a normal human being, she can also get tired like other mothers out there.
