Jirayut started his career in Indonesia after participating in the fourth season of D' Academy Asia. His name immediately soared as a young man with many talents from singing, acting, to becoming a presenter.
Jirayut's popularity is undeniable even in remote areas. Because of this acceptance, the singer of the song Rindu Luar Biasa already considers Indonesia as his second home.
"I started my career from scratch in D'Academy Asia. Alhamdulillah, I was accepted by the Indonesian people, many of whom love me. Indonesia has become my second home, the people are friendly and make me feel comfortable," said Jirayut quoted from his statement via Zoom, Thursday (4/1/2023).
Jirayut is already very comfortable and fluent in speaking Indonesian. He admitted that he sometimes forgets the Thai language because of how fluent he is in Indonesian.
"Because I speak Indonesian all the time, I have forgotten the Thai language. That's how it is," said the owner of the birth name Afisan Jehderamae.
When asked if there is a possibility of changing nationality, he will still consider it because it is not his current focus.
"If I decide to become an Indonesian citizen, it's allowed, but not now because my focus is on my family. Let's just go with the flow for now, we don't know what the future holds. Let's focus on work for now," said Jirayut.
Furthermore, Jirayut revealed the fact that his presence in Indonesia is not widely known by the Thai people. He hopes that as the years go by, his name can become prominent in his home country.
"I am known around my neighborhood, but not in Thailand as a whole because I am more recognized in Indonesia. I hope my career will continue to soar, even to be more recognized in my own country," Jirayut hopes.
Although not widely known, Jirayut has built a quite magnificent house in Thailand. The house is a manifestation of his success in Indonesia.
