Fans' Wishes Finally Come True, Rara LIDA and Gunawan LIDA Release Their Debut Duet Single

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Rara LIDA has just released her latest single titled 'Kala Cinta Menghampiri Jiwa' (When Love Approaches the Soul). Not alone, in this single, Rara duets with Gunawan LIDA who was the runner-up of Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2020.

For Rara, the song composed by Adibal Sahrul is a very soulful song to listen to.

Rara explained, 'Kala Cinta Menghampiri Jiwa' tells the story of a couple who are in love, they don't listen to outside opinions that love is crazy, what they feel is a sincere love.

"No matter how many people say this love is crazy, but they still believe that the love in their hearts is truly sincere," said Rara when met in the Antasari area, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/22) afternoon.

In the same opportunity, Gunawan revealed that he never expected to be able to duet with Rara. According to him, this is a pride of its own as well as the desire of their fans.

"Since last year, many people have been saying 'Rara and Kak Gunawan should make a single together'. We didn't confirm it, just 'amen, God willing'," said Gunawan.

"Meaning, as long as people pray for good things, we just say 'amen'. Alhamdulillah, the prayer is answered," added Rara.

In addition, Gunawan himself never imagined that he could sing a classic dangdut song. Gunawan even doubted whether he could sing a classic song and balance with Rara.

"It can be said that this is difficult for Gunawan. The thought was, 'can I do it during the recording? Can I make it sound classic?'," Gunawan concluded.
