Faul's Coolness, Champion of LIDA 2019 Who is Currently Pursuing S2 Education

Although he has become a champion, everyone knows that Faul has always been a humble person. Hailing from Aceh, this young man with the long name Fauzul Abdi is intelligent and multi-talented.

The seventh child out of eight siblings, Faul comes from a humble farmer family. At the age of 15, he had to face a bitter reality, which was losing both of his parents.

"Initially, my parents didn't know that they were suffering from a disease, then when my mother and father went to Jakarta to attend my sister's wedding. My father got checked and it turned out that the doctor diagnosed him with heart disease, diabetes, and other complications," he said when met at the LIDA dormitory in Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, last Friday (29/3).

It turned out that his mother received a similar diagnosis. Two weeks after Faul's father's diagnosis, he passed away. His mother followed 10 days later. Since then, Faul's life has changed.

He then continued his education with limited funds. He received a scholarship when he continued to the undergraduate level. He completed his studies with a full scholarship until graduation.

Not content with just being a bachelor's degree holder, Faul wants to pursue a master's degree. "I really want to continue to S2, but how can I do it? Finally, my friend and I tried to find scholarships. When we got it, it turns out the requirements were more or less the same, so I applied again and finally got another scholarship to continue my S2 studies," said Faul.

In the midst of his busy college life, Faul also performed in various places, including Turkey and Europe. He was planning to go to Europe when he was announced as a successful participant in LIDA 2019 auditions.

Faul returned to Indonesia to fulfill the requirements to participate in LIDA 2019 because for him, becoming a singer in the Indonesian Dangdut League is one of his dreams.
