In his old age, actor Jaja Miharja remains active in the entertainment industry of the homeland. At the age of 83 and with a health condition not as strong as before, Jaja Miharja continues to create. When there are no shooting activities, he spends his free time composing songs in Betawi language. Check out the complete story below!
"(During leisure time) I scribble and create songs. Any kind of song. It takes a long time, sometimes several hours. The length of time is spent thinking about how to connect the words," said Jaja when met in Sudirman area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/6/2024).
Now Jaja Miharja walks using a cane in his activities. For the past few years, his leg bones have been problematic, so he has to be injected every forty days.
"Health is good, it's just that the bones in my legs, I don't know why. I can only walk after being injected every forty days. There is a doctor who knows the liquid," said the man famous for the phrase 'What is that?!?!'.
Although the condition is not as strong as before, Jaja Miharja still wants to remain active in creating. According to him, age is not a barrier to creativity.
"We don't know what age is. If it is still needed, I am ready. I have been in my career for a long time and none of you have. This (leg condition) is hindering, but when it comes to acting, it's different," he said firmly.
Jaja Miharja has been in the industry for 58 years. He is known as a legendary artist in Indonesia and is still active until now, you know.
Jaja Miharja is known to be born into an artistic family. It's no wonder that, even as he gets older, his passion as an artist doesn't fade.
