Finally Free, Saipul Jamil Says Prison Inmates Cried Losing Him in Jail

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Saipul Jamil can now breathe a sigh of relief and see the outside world again after being imprisoned for five years. Like a bird released from its cage, Saipul Jamil is so happy to be free.

After leaving the Cipinang Penitentiary in East Jakarta, there are many things that the 41-year-old man wants to do. One of them is to visit the graves of his parents, so Saipul Jamil immediately headed from Jakarta to Serang, Banten.

When met at his residence in Serang, Banten, before going to the gravesite, Saipul Jamil has many interesting stories about life in prison. Even when he was released, his fellow inmates cried as they bid farewell to the former husband of Dewi Perssik.

"They were really sad, that's why I told them 'just pray, hopefully Bang Ipul will be healthy, successful, and have lots of blessings that I will share with my friends," said Saipul Jamil.

During his stay at the prodeo hotel, the artist who is familiarly called bang Ipul admitted that he learned a lot of new things. One of them is about how to judge whether someone is good or bad.

"What is clear is that there is a lot of knowledge and getting to know people, I would say it's like going back to nature, in this free nature there are actually good people, people pretending to be good, people pretending to be bad, there are actually bad people, so good people can be hypocrites, that's how I can judge people and get to know them," he said.

However, Saipul Jamil does not want to have bad thoughts about people. Because according to him, evil thoughts sometimes come from within himself.

"Now I am not suspicious of people, whereas before I used to think that everyone was good and there was no such thing as a bad person," he said.

"Sometimes I look at someone as a bad person in my heart, but it turns out that person is actually a bad person now," he added.
