Following Her Husband, Nella Kharisma Migrates From Kediri to Solo

Kapanlagi.com - The singer of the song Jaran Goyang, Nella Kharisma apparently no longer lives in her hometown, Kediri, East Java because she follows her husband, Dory Harsa. When met at the KLY office, Menteng, East Jakarta, on Saturday afternoon (19/12), the 26-year-old woman also admitted that she has changed her identity card.

"Now I am settled in Central Java, in Solo. I followed my husband and even changed my identity card to Central Java," said Nella Kharisma.

1. Not Surprised During Adaptation

Nevertheless, Nella admitted that she was not surprised when adapting to a new environment. It was actually her husband, Dory Harsa, who had a little difficulty adjusting to the environment.

"I'm not surprised, it's actually Mr. Dory who feels awkward because in Central Java, the language is polite (Javanese language), while I speak in a rough Javanese accent. So, he might think 'wow, my wife from East Java speaks really rough Javanese'," she said.

2. Living in a Normal Place

Furthermore, in the same occasion, Dory mentioned that he and Nella Kharisma live in a normal place and blend in with the community. However, considering the ongoing pandemic, he stated that interacting with neighbors might still be limited due to the implementation of physical distancing.

"We live in a normal place, just like any regular people, and we blend in with the residents there. Since Solo is still implementing physical distancing, we interact with our neighbors as usual, but it is limited," Dory Harsa concluded.
