The Director of Detention and Evidence of the Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Barnabas, stated that they have prepared a special cell for Lucinta Luna in the women's block because the men's block is already full.

"Yes, but it hasn't arrived yet, but we have prepared a special cell. A special cell means being alone in the women's block," said Barnabas to reporters at the Jakarta Metro Police, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/2).

As known, the police are still waiting for the court's decision from Lucinta Luna regarding the change of name and gender. For the sake of safety, the police have finally decided to place Lucinta Luna in the women's block.

"Our consideration is safety. Whoever the prisoner is, we must ensure their safety, both physically and psychologically, to avoid bullying and so on. It is our obligation to do that. Let's wait for the development, but for now, we secure the first stage. She is safe, as well as other prisoners, and it does not cause any disturbances," he said.

2. Full of Male Prisoners

In addition, Barnabas also stated that the male prisoners are currently full.

"For his own safety and comfort or for other prisoners. Coincidentally, the men's block is also full, while the women's block is still spacious," he concluded.
