Ega & Rafly are known as a couple of dangdut singers who lack sensation. They were brought together through the D'Academy event, although they were not in the same season.
They decided to get married at a young age. At that time, Ega was 21 years old while Rafly was even younger, only 20 years old.
Ega & Rafly chose to live in Kuningan with their two children, instead of settling in the capital city like other D'Academy alumni.
This was chosen because they wanted to focus on business and other activities. After a hiatus, Ega & Rafly have recently become active again in the dangdut music scene by covering songs on YouTube.
