Inspired by Rara LIDA, Two Ralova Members Try Their Luck in a Dangdut Talent Search

Kapanlagi.com - Two members of the Rara LIDA fan community, also known as Ralova, are participating in a talent search called Rising Star Dangdut. They are Ferly Suhendar from Serang, Banten and Agustina Rahayu from Sukabumi, West Java.

Incidentally, they are a couple who fell in love while being part of Ralova. They have been in a relationship since November 2021 until now. They are also of the same age, both 25 years old.

Another unique fact is that Ferly and Agustina were both runners-up in the LDR (Liga Dangdut Ralova) competition. LDR is an annual dangdut competition for Ralova members. Participating in the dangdut competition, these Ralova members were inspired by their idol's success in LIDA.

Ferly and Agustina's journey in the dangdut talent search has reached the top 42 round. They will fight to advance to the top 12 round on May 16, 2022.

1. Ferly Suhendar Initially Nervous

Contacted via text message, Ferly Suhendar admitted that he had been participating in singing competitions at school since he was a child. When he first performed, this dangdut music fan admitted to being a little nervous.

"Being nervous and stage fright is inevitable, especially when you first start performing, cold sweat too," said Ferly, who also works at one of the state-owned banks.

2. Agustina Rahayu Once Became a Band Vocalist

Agustina used to be a soloist and a band vocalist, but took a break to focus on school. After working, she joined singing competitions again until now.

"Yes, I started by joining solo vocal competitions at school. I also joined the school's vocal group, then formed a band until the first year of vocational school, but took a break to focus on school. I started to like joining competitions again when I started working, around the end of 2017 until now," said Agustina.

Although she is now pursuing a career in dangdut, Agustina initially sang in the pop genre.
