Inul Daratista Shares the Secret of a Lasting Household: Not Just Good at Cooking

They have been sailing the ship of household life for quite a long time, almost reaching 25 years together. As it is known, Inul married Adam Suseno on May 29, 1995.

Always seen as a harmonious couple, Inul also reveals her secret. She reveals that being a wife is not just about being good at cooking.

"The secret to a lasting household? Alhamdulillah, in a household, it's not just about being able to cook, but our hearts also need to be clean and clear. We need to be able to be sincere and forgiving. To forgive each other, to trust each other, and to be open to each other," said Inul Daratista when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday (17/1/2020).

1. See the Future

However, it is undeniable that problems often arise. They have even had arguments with each other. That is normal in a marriage, but the way to resolve it is what matters most to Inul.

"If I argue with Mas Adam, it can't last long. Even if we argue, I think about where our future is heading, whether we should continue or break up. Usually, that's how I am. If we want to continue, we need to fix things. The goal is still the same, even when we're old, we need to improve our shortcomings," she continued.

2. Admitting Mistakes

Inul herself is an open person. She will admit if she is wrong, but also vice versa.

"When it comes to being talkative, all women are usually chatty, but I am a straightforward and open person. If I am wrong, I am wrong. If I feel that I am right and this needs to be justified, I will still stand my ground because what I give is true," she concluded.
