JD Eleven, the First Boyband to Make a Music Video at Jakarta International Stadium

Kapanlagi.com - Before the inauguration of Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), the largest roofed stadium in Asia-Pacific, JD Eleven had already made history for their career by making JIS the location of their debut music video.

JD Eleven is a boyband consisting of former contestants from the Indosiar singing competition. Together with 3D Entertainment as their recording label and Stream Entertainment as their artist management, JD Eleven released a single titled See You Bye Bye with an electronic music dance genre, created by Aldo BZ.

See You Bye Bye could be heard first on June 9, 2022 on the Tiktok app with a duration of 60 seconds, while the full song will be available on Digital Streaming Platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Joox, Langit Musik, Resso, YouTube Music, Instagram Reels, and Trebel on June 14, 2022.

As festival performers, JD Eleven, consisting of Hari, Gunawan, Faul, Ridwan, and Randa, were heavily involved in the recording process. "The five of us are all former competition contestants, so when we gather, we all have ideas, and we explore them on the spot," explained Faul.

Not wanting to leave their identity as dangdut singers, fans can still enjoy the blend of EDM, Pop and Dangdut in this song “Kendala yang besar sih nggak ada, tapi lagu ini nggak banyak cengkok dan bukan lagu yang ngalun seperti dangdut, namun di beberapa part ada sentuhan dangdut lewat cara kita bernyanyi, salah satunya bagian Faul yang paling terasa”, said Hari.

“But the lyrics themselves are also interesting, making us more passionate. So, it's about a girl and a guy who are close but have no status, but after a long time being friends, the guy just says See You Bye Bye. I think many people have experienced this, so we want to represent your feelings,” added Gunawan.

Collaborating during the recording, JD Eleven's struggle didn't stop there. Used to being all-around singers, JD Eleven also presents a dance created specifically for the song See You Bye Bye and performed in a music video set against the magnificent architecture of Jakarta International Stadium.

Teaming up with Ryan Wiedaryanto as the director, the Music Video surprise is not only about the prestigious location which is the “Icon of Jakarta Capital City”, but also in its production process involving more than 100 JD Eleven fans. With the flashmob concept (mass dance), JD Eleven can be seen dancing with fans in the corridors of JIS with fireworks sprinkled around.
