Jirayut's Career in 2020, Previously Failed to Become the Champion of D'Academy Asia But Could Become The Next Indra Bekti and Loved by Mothers

Unfortunately, his journey in D'Academy Asia 4 only reached the top 10. He had to admit the superiority of his competitors who were more skilled in dangdut singing. Luckily for Jirayut, Indosiar saw other potential in him.

One day after Jirayut was eliminated, Indosiar entrusted him to accompany Gilang Dirga, Irfan Hakim, Ramzi, and Uyaina Asyad in hosting D'Academy Asia 4. Indosiar's choice was not wrong. Despite still facing language barriers, Jirayut's presence as a host received positive responses from the public.

1. Shining Career

To develop Jirayut's talent as a host, Indosiar specifically provided MC training and Indonesian language training. As time goes by, Jirayut's ability to host shows using the Indonesian language becomes more polished.

In 2019, Jirayut was trusted to host various programs on Indosiar, one of which is Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA). In that year, Jirayut also had the opportunity to become a recording artist by releasing a single titled Jambret Cinta.

Jirayut's potential continues to be explored and developed. Not only as a presenter and singer, Jirayut's acting skills are also honed by involving him as a player in various FTV programs.

Seeing Jirayut's continuously growing abilities and the positive response from the audience to Jirayut's presence, Harsiwi Achmad believes that Jirayut's star will shine even brighter in 2020.

2. Liked by Mothers

Moreover, Jirayut has a good attitude. He remains a humble, friendly, and unpretentious person, even though his career is on the rise.

"This child is indeed pleasant and can become the love of the Indonesian people. He is also a humble person who is very embracing when invited off-air in various regions. His followers are also very numerous. Besides millennials, mothers also really like him," said Harsiwi Achmad, the director of Surya Citra Media.

Therefore, Indosiar did not take long to extend the contract of cooperation with Jirayut. Various program shows, acknowledged Harsiwi Achmad, have been prepared for Jirayut in 2020.

"Many people like him, that's why we will continue to develop his talent, not only as a presenter but also for acting in series, on-air, and off-air. Hopefully, he will develop to the fullest because he is truly talented, his voice is getting better, and his Indonesian language is getting smoother," he said.

3. The Next Indra Bekti

Even Harsiwi Achmad predicts that someday Jirayut will become the next Indra Bekti. "He is still young, his journey is still long. Right now, his followers have already surpassed Indra Bekti," said Harsiwi Achmad with a smile.

Harsiwi Achmad also added that if there is a production house interested in inviting Jirayut to play in a feature film, Indosiar is open to the opportunity, but with conditions. "If there are any interested parties, they can contact Indosiar, no problem," he said.

4. Becoming More Wanted

Meanwhile, Irma Hidayat, one of the artist managers, said it is reasonable for Indosiar to retain Jirayut under an exclusive contract. According to her, Jirayut is an iconic figure, multi-talented, and entertaining. For example, if Jirayut's contract with Indosiar is not extended, she believes that he will become a sought-after talent by other TV stations.

"It could happen, because it's very easy to sell Jirayut. Because he is iconic, funny, has many fans, and also has great potential because he could be the next generation of Irfan Hakim or Indra Bekti. But it seems like Indosiar won't let go of Jirayut," said Irma Hidayat, based on her perspective as a manager.

Irma also believes that Jirayut can become a mega star if he continues his career in Indonesia. "Definitely, as long as he is maintained. Like I said earlier, he is multi-talented, can host, sing, and his actions are very entertaining," she concluded.
