Nevertheless, Cita Citata stated that she did not think about reducing the number of employees working for her. She is dealing with this extraordinary situation by reducing the salaries of all her employees after Idul Fitri.

"Yes, it seems that after Idul Fitri there will be salary cuts because there is no income. But everyone must understand and comprehend, understand this situation. I'm sorry, not only the lower middle class feels it, we in the middle also feel the impact of the corona on the economy," said Cita Citata when met in Jakarta, Tuesday (28/4).

As a singer, Cita Citata admits that she has suffered losses amounting to hundreds of millions during the pandemic. She, who has always been brainstorming for the welfare of her employees, hopes that this epidemic will end soon.

"Yes, that's true. Especially because we are human beings. Without income, we get worried. Moreover, we can't lay off our workers, it's pitiful. Now we have to be smart in managing money. Luckily, I have savings. But if we keep using the savings, they will run out. So I hope COVID-19 ends quickly," she continued.

2. Productive Activities

During the quiet period and having to stay at home, Cita Citata fills her time with productive and useful activities to avoid boredom. Besides participating in shooting as a guest star during the holy month of Ramadan, Cita Citata apparently also frequently exercises and cooks.

"I think it's not just me who gets bored. Because I don't know what else to do. But Alhamdulillah, this Ramadan there are many shootings as a guest star. I don't take regular roles because intentionally, I'm afraid of getting infected with the coronavirus. So shooting a few times makes me not get bored anymore. I spent almost a month at home not knowing what else to do, just doing sports and cooking. Now I mostly cook cakes," said Cita Citata.

The many negative impacts of this pandemic did not make Cita Citata despair. Instead, she can take lessons from the current situation to be better in the future.

"Yes, everything is canceled. Many people are embarrassed because they cannot pay installments. The condition is indeed difficult. But that's how it is. It teaches us to save for the future after this," she concluded.
