KUA Reveals They Didn't Know That Lesti and Rizky Billar Secretly Got Married

The owner of the Facebook account claims that Leslar not only deceived the public but also falsified data when registering their marriage at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). As we know, one of the requirements for marriage at the KUA is to provide a statement letter regarding the status of the prospective bride and groom, whether they are virgins or not.

In relation to this, the Head of KUA Kebayoran Lama, H. Madari finally spoke up. He admitted that the KUA was indeed unaware that they had secretly gotten married at that time, as quoted from Tabloid Nyata.

"Based on the documents that have been submitted to us and this marriage has been conducted, I see that there is a problem. Meaning there is no information about a secret marriage here, it doesn't exist. First, the introduction from the sub-district on behalf of Muhammad Rizky shows his status as a bachelor. In his ID card, Muhammad Rizky is also not married," said H. Madari.

It doesn't stop there, Madari also stated that the Leslar marriage is not legally flawed. According to the data provided, this is not a problem.

"Meaning this marriage is based on documents, based on letters from the sub-district, recommendations from the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) previously. All of them state that the individuals are unmarried, virgin, and there is no story of a secret marriage. This means that, according to the rules, there are no problems with marriage or population administration," he added.

At the end of the interview, Madari actually refused to comment on the allegations of public deception against Lesti and Billar, "If we only rely on data, it is difficult to be held accountable for oral statements. If there are people who suspect it as a lie, we don't know. But based on administrative data such as ID card, family card, and neighborhood introduction, there are no problems."

"It means, for example, on the ID card (the status) is married, changed, made unmarried, (then) it is a data forgery. But here, there is none. Here, it is still original. The ID card states unmarried, and the neighborhood introduction states single, meaning there is no violation, no forgery. If it's about that statement, it's not within the authority of the Office of Religious Affairs," he emphasized.
