Dangdut singer Nassar expressed his desire to remarry after 10 years of living as a widower. The loneliness he has felt all this time, especially after divorcing Muzdalifah, has become increasingly heavy.
"I've been alone for a very long time. It's been 10 years. So, right now it seems like I really need to have a family again," Nassar stated when met in the Cipinang area on Friday (11/1/2024).
Nassar also expressed a strong desire to soon end his status as a widower, hopefully next year. “Hopefully, insya Allah. Pray for me,” he said with a smile.
He admitted that living alone all this time has started to create a deep sense of loneliness. “Right now I feel lonely, at home it feels like a hassle, I mean where is it like that. It seems like I'm only feeling it now. So it seems like I really have to, wow, I think I need to get married, it seems like,” he added.
His mother also began to hint at her support for Nassar to find a life partner soon. However, Nassar is grateful that his mother did not provide specific criteria.
Interestingly, Nassar joked that his ideal criteria might be found in the figure of 'Samira', the title of his latest single. “The criteria are in Samira, well, finding someone like this is hard,” he said while laughing.
So, who is this ideal figure ‘Samira’ in Nassar's eyes? He describes her as a gentle, loving, and very caring woman. "Very feminine, very motherly, nurturing. The typical nurturing type. Definitely a man's dream," Nassar explained.
Although he joked about his partner criteria, Nassar admitted that many friends have tried to matchmake him. "There are friends, but for me, I just listen to my mom. If my mom gives her blessing, then insya Allah the path will be good," said Nassar.
Nassar hopes that the decision to marry again can be a blessed path, especially if his mother's approval accompanies his steps.
