In fact, Defri Juliant is not a new name in the Indosiar dangdut contest. Two years ago, Defri participated in the Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA) 2020. After the competition, Defri has released an album and five singles.

Recently, Defri tried his luck again in this year's D'Academy 5. He hopes to achieve more than he did in LIDA 2020. Apparently, his audition performance captivated Lesti!

Defri's performance even captivated Lesti, who was one of the judges in that round. Lesti's infatuation with Defri even made Rizky Billar, who was the host, 'annoyed' with his wife.

"Indosiar really knows what the little one needs, it's so enjoyable to feast your eyes here, oh my!" said Lesti. This even surprised Rizky Billar. After performing the song 'First Glance', Lesti mentioned that she was fascinated by Defri.
