Never Blessed with Children, Fitri Carlina Accepts Her Husband's Remarriage

1. Mentally Down Due to Not Having Children

Because she has not been able to have children, Fitri Carlina admits that she has experienced depression, where every day she can only cry and mourn herself. All the advice from her husband and even close people cannot heal her sadness, so she decided to consult a psychologist.

"Yesterday, I was down because all the efforts to have a child have been done by my husband. But until now, it has not yielded any results. I am mentally down because I feel a lot of pressure. Our marriage has been long enough, Mas Hendra is already in his forties because we have a 10-year age difference, and the responsibility I have towards my family, netizens also ask about it, that's what makes me down. I even consulted a psychologist upon the advice of my family and even my husband, but it didn't work," Fitri said when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (30/7/2020).

2. Sincerely Husband Marries Again

Feeling hopeless, Fitri Carlina said something that would never be mentioned in normal conditions. That is allowing her husband to marry again just to have offspring.

"I even said, 'If I'm not a perfect wife, Father Hendra can marry again, who knows we can have children quickly'. But after being conscious, it turns out that's not what my husband wants. What Mas Hendra wants is not just a child. Moreover, we have built this with great difficulty, why should I be down because of that alone. Finally, I am motivated again as long as there is still a chance and a dream," said the woman born in Banyuwangi.
