New Song Release, Neng Wirdha Doesn't Want to Ride on the Fame of Elvy Sukaesih's Mother

Currently, her new song has started to be played on Indonesian radios.

There is something different about Abang Jecky compared to Neng Wirdha's previous singles. This time, she combines dangdut music with cool Indian music elements to make it danceable.

The lyrics of Abang Jecky also have a special meaning, as it tells about Neng Wirdha's deep love for her husband. Her heartfelt expression is then enchanted into a beautiful composition by Jul Bahar.

"Actually, this song has been around for quite a while, but I kept it. Compared to before, the music is more modern now. It's like the current dangdut," said Neng Wirdha when met at a place in East Jakarta, Wednesday (11/25).

In the making of her music video, Neng Wirdha showcases various dance moves that are currently popular on TikTok. In fact, unintentionally, she also performs movements that are so similar to the Queen of Dangdut Elvy Sukaesih.

"When I saw it again, it really resembles my mom. It was spontaneous, there was no intention at all," she said.

2. Not Wanting to Ride on Her Mother's Name

For those of you who don't know, this mother of three is indeed the daughter of Elvy Sukaesih. However, Neng Wirdha emphasizes that she wants to be known for her own work, not for her status as the daughter of the Queen of Dangdut.

"But there are also people who meet me and say, 'Why do you look like your mom?' Well, I am her daughter. I prefer people to know me for my work, not just because I am her daughter," she concluded.
