The reason is quite simple, Nita Thalia wanted to become a flight attendant when she was little so she could travel around Indonesia. As an adult, this mother of one is grateful that she can still fulfill her dream of traveling around Indonesia, even though not as a flight attendant.

"It's really unexpected because since I was little, my dream was not to become a dangdut singer, but to become a flight attendant," said Nita Thalia at the Semangat Senin Indosiar event, Monday (21/6/2021).

As a dangdut singer, Nita Thalia's experience is undoubtedly unquestionable. In her 21-year career, the owner of the real name Nita Yulianti has released dozens of albums and won many awards.

"I have received 10 awards during my 21-year career," she said.

Nita shared her story with the hope that the younger generation will not be ashamed to become dangdut singers like her. Moreover, there is Indosiar, which has been focused on finding talents to be stars for several years.

"This is extraordinary, Indosiar provides a platform for singers who have difficulty channeling their talents, and Indosiar has produced many stars," she said.

3. Share Knowledge with Young Dangdut Singers

Furthermore, Nita Thalia, who often becomes a judge on the Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA) program, will be a mentor in the Bintang Pantura 6 event. As a mentor, she will pass on all the knowledge she has to her students.

"What is certain is that I have to be firm, not mean. I have to love all the participants, but above all, I have to specialize in guiding, advising, and sharing my knowledge that I have gained in my 21-year career. Whatever I have experienced, I will pass on the knowledge to them," she said.
