In the latest episode of POLES (14/6), Lesti herself admitted that she never expected to have a serious relationship with Billar until now. Initially, she was just happy to get to know someone who had the same mindset.
"Honestly, I never expected to come this far with him. But one thing for sure, when we first met, I was happy because I could meet a new friend who has the same frequency," said Lesti.
Before officially being proposed to, Lesti admitted that her journey of love with Rizky Billar was not always smooth. They faced various problems. However, because of the commitment they had made, Lesti and Billar were able to reach a more serious stage.
"Although people say that the journey was actually short, but for me and my brother, it was an extraordinary journey. In any relationship, there will always be stories and problems," said Lesti.
"But because our principle is to build a more serious relationship, for the sake of worship, we enjoy the process. And hopefully in the future, we will always be a happy couple," continued the 21-year-old dangdut singer.
Lesti revealed 2 reasons for her confidence in choosing Rizky Billar as her future partner. One of them is Billar's courage to directly express his good intentions to Lesti's parents.
"What makes me confident is that he directly asked for my father's permission, which is my first love. The second reason is that he made me fall in love again," she concluded.
