Once Started Career from Wedding Stage to Prostitution, Inul Daratista: Just Want to Change Fate

Being a dangdut singer like now was not a dream she had since long ago. She admitted that since she was little, she aspired to become a doctor or a policewoman.

Apparently, God had a different plan. Instead of becoming a public servant, Inul became a dangdut singer who started her career from small stages. Although it was not easy, this mother of one slowly began to reach the peak of her career.

“I never dreamed of being an artist. I wanted to be a doctor wearing a white coat, serving patients and dedicating myself. If I didn't become a doctor, I wanted to be a brave policewoman. But how can I become a doctor when I don't have the means? I was a stupid student, my math grade was 3, physics 4, social studies 5, the only good grade was religion 9, and civic education 8,” she said in a post.

1. Once Performed in the Red-Light District

Although she can no longer fulfill her dream of becoming a public servant, Inul apparently began to discover her hidden talent from small things that became her daily routine.

Who would have thought that singing while mopping could lead her to a better music career. She has tried small stages after small stages to solidify her singing experience, and she even once performed in a completely unexpected location, in the red-light district.

"Every day screaming to be an artist. Singing while doing laundry, singing while mopping, singing while doing anything, even though the singing is from a celebration, from one stage to another, from discotheques, bars, cafes, to the red-light district, all explored," she added.

2. Can Finally Sit Calmly

Now her fate has turned around, Inul Daratista can finally enjoy the hard work she has gone through. She can even employ graduates in her company. She also added how grateful she is to be given such luck by God.

As she mentioned in her post, she talked about a journey that would have been impossible without the blessings of her parents.

"But God gave me a great fortune, and through a difficult process, I can reach this point. Even though I didn't finish school, now all my employees are graduates. The important thing is to stay on the right path, be grateful, and not be lazy. Keep learning so that no one can undermine you," she said.

"Don't forget to show respect and obedience to the elderly. I will continue to create," she concluded.
