Ramadan Still in a Pandemic Situation, Lesti Kejora Reveals the Lessons She Feels

Kapanlagi.com - This year Ramadan has to be passed with a pandemic situation that has not ended. Just like before, several activities involving many people cannot be done yet. Lesti admits that she misses performing in big concerts that are usually held during Ramadan.

"(I miss) concerts. Usually, Indosiar holds a big concert before Eid and during the night of takbir, the audience enthusiastically participates in the takbir. Those are very emotional moments, but there were none last year," she said in the latest episode of POLES (12/4).

1. Focus on Worship

Although Ramadan takes place amidst a pandemic, there are still lessons that can be learned by the singer of the song EGOIS. Lesti admits that she can focus more on worship.

"The lesson is to be more focused. Usually, for personal matters, I would go to the mall, but last year I didn't do that. I focused on worship, which used to be half-hearted, but now I am more focused on family," she said.

2. Family Tradition

There is a tradition that the Lesti family always carries out when welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan. Rikzy Billar's sweetheart mentioned that she and her family do something called 'munggahan'.

"When it's the first day of fasting, there is usually something called 'munggahan'. So, on the first day of fasting, we have to gather with our extended family. Then, if possible, we break the fast together," Lesti concluded.
