This is not the first time that the marriage of Dewi Perssik and Angga Wijaya has been reported to be in trouble. This time, Angga officially filed for divorce at the South Jakarta Religious Court. Despite being known for their romance, their relationship has become a memory.
It can still be remembered that in September 2017, Dewi and Angga officially got married. However, their marriage apparently did not last for 5 years as they are rumored to be getting a divorce.
This was confirmed by Sandy Arifin, Dewi Perssik's lawyer. "I immediately contacted Angga. Angga confirmed that he had submitted the divorce application on June 20," said Sandy Arifin as quoted from Insertlive.com, Wednesday (22/6).
"I have officially asked my colleague, Wijayanto Hadi Sukrisno, to check with the South Jakarta Religious Court," added Sandy, as quoted from detik.
The news of their marital problems had also circulated in 2020.
Not only about livelihood, according to Dewi's confession, the interference from her mother-in-law also made her extremely angry at that time. She even openly expressed her desire for divorce.
However, they made peace again in September 2020. Dewi admitted that no one is perfect. She hopes that she and Angga can always be patient and mature in facing life's challenges.

"Believe me, my love, the reason I have stayed with you all this time is because you deserve to be cherished and fought for," wrote Angga on Instagram.
"Diamonds will still shine even when covered in mud. So keep your spirits up, my angel from heaven," he continued while adding romantic emotes at that time.
