Reza Zakarya Happy and Proud to See the Enthusiasm of Online Audition Participants for D'Academy 5

Kapanlagi.com - Reza Zakarya became one of the judges of the online audition for Dangdut Academy (D'Academy) 5 held today, Wednesday (9/3). He said he was very happy and proud to be involved in this event.

As it is known, after a five-year hiatus, D'Academy 5 is finally being held this year. However, the enthusiasm from the public who want to participate in the D'Academy audition never subsides. Reza Zakarya also revealed this.

"“D'Academy is one of the talent search events that many people ask Reza when it will be held again. The enthusiasm is extraordinary, even there is a singing group in West Java that asks Reza every year if there will be D'Academy,” said Reza Zakarya during a virtual interview on Wednesday (9/3).

In addition, despite this year's auditions being held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the public remains enthusiastic about participating. According to Reza Zakarya, online auditions can even make it easier for participants.

"According to Reza, enthusiasm is the same for offline and online. In fact, online auditions are better because you don't have to queue up in the heat, you just need to record a video," said the fourth winner of D'Academy 2.

2. Finding New Colors for Indonesian Dangdut Music

Acting as a judge for the online auditions of D'Academy 5, Reza Zakarya wants to find new talents that can bring new colors to Indonesian dangdut music.

"Reza is very proud to be able to search for new talents, Reza wants to find new colors for Indonesian dangdut music. Because Indosiar is indeed a talent search that is loved by young people, especially in dangdut music. Reza and the team will try to find the best," he said.

3. Different Characters

Reza Zakarya hopes that the online audition participants of D'Academy 5 have different characters from the previous D'Academy champions.

"From the four seasons, champions with different characters have been born. Starting from Lesti, Evi, Ical, and Fildan. For this year, Reza is very optimistic that the current children are more prepared because they have seen previous references, their demands must have a different side from last year," he explained.

4. Still Many are the Same

So far, Reza Zakarya has seen many D'Academy 5 online audition participants with the same character as the previous D'Academy graduates.

"We have found some people but they are mostly fans of Lesti, they copy her style. They have also memorized the improvisations we made before. So they learn a lot. Maybe that's the difficulty," he concluded.
