Ridho Rhoma Proven Guilty, Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison for Drug Case at Cipinang Penitentiary

Kapanlagi.com - The judges of the North Jakarta District Court apparently had already given a verdict against Ridho Rhoma some time ago. The verdict was given after the son of Dangdut King Rhoma Irama was once again involved in a drug case.

According to Rika Aprianti, the Head of Public Relations and Protocol at the Directorate General of Corrections, the judge declared Ridho Rhoma guilty and sentenced him to 2 years in prison.

"The verdict of the North Jakarta District Court on September 21, 2021. With a punishment of 2 years," said Rika when contacted by the media recently.

After the verdict was read on September 21, 2021, Rhido Rhoma is now serving his sentence for his actions at Class I Cipinang Penitentiary in East Jakarta.

"He is a convict, not a P21, and has been executed by the prosecutor," he said.

As previously reported, the 32-year-old man fell into the same hole again and was arrested by the Tanjung Priok Port Police on February 4, 2021.

From the arrest, the police successfully seized evidence in the form of 3 ecstasy pills. After a urine test, it was confirmed that Rhido Rhoma had consumed drugs.

2. The Father Has Surrendered

Ridho Rhoma was apprehended by the police in an apartment in South Jakarta along with two of his friends. Regarding Ridho Rhoma's second arrest, Rhoma Irama, as the father, can only surrender to the fate of his child and leave all decisions to the outcome of the trial.

Rhoma Irama, who has given up, now leaves it to his child to take responsibility for himself.

"I don't want there to be a third time. I have already raised my hands for the second time. This is to emphasize that he must take full responsibility for himself. So that Ridho truly experiences the deterrent effect," said the singer of the song Begadang some time ago.

During his detention, Rhoma revealed that Ridho cannot be visited due to Covid-19 protocols. So they can only communicate through phone calls.

"During Covid, visits are not allowed, but occasionally we can talk on the phone. Maybe this is a reminder, falling into the trap again is a reminder from Allah," said the man known as the King of Dangdut.
