Sad Story of Aida Saskia Who Fights Against Breast Cancer: I Neglected Prayer a Lot

Aida Saskia was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer a year ago.

"It started with a small lump, which I didn't feel at first. Usually, I would have body aches during my period, but it turns out the lump kept appearing and bothering me," she said.

After that, Aida Saskia decided to consult with a doctor about the lump.

The result was really bitter, because the doctor diagnosed her with breast cancer.

"The doctor requested a biopsy surgery plan to remove this cancer mass. To know what the lump is. Two weeks later, I had the biopsy surgery. The biopsy result confirmed it was malignant cancer. I was shocked, didn't expect it because I just recovered from meningitis after being treated for 19 months," said Aida Saskia.

Since the presence of the lump, Aida Sakia didn't feel any pain. But when she was too tired, she fainted, but it was ignored because it was just the effect of exhaustion after recovering from meningitis.

"No suspicion of cancer at first, a lump appeared and was biopsied, turns out it was cancer. Only then did I realize that I easily get tired because of cancer. It was already stage 3 when it was diagnosed, it was too late," she said.

Aida Saskia tried every possible way to recover from breast cancer. From undergoing chemotherapy to having her breast removed during the second surgery.

"There was a small lump for two weeks. After the biopsy, the second surgery was performed to remove the breast. After it was removed, the doctor performed a reconstructive surgery, replacing the removed breast with tissue taken from the abdomen and attached it to the missing breast."

"For the past few years, I have been taking medication for meningitis and blood circulation from the doctor. My blood circulation in the breast was not normal and there was still some remaining tissue from the breast removal, which eventually became infected. The rotten abdominal tissue was removed again, tried again for 6 surgeries," said Aida Saskia.

"Definitely down. I thought I would be completely paralyzed and unable to walk at all. I just prayed while sleeping. There were many times when I neglected prayer. This trial is now a lesson for me. If I could prostrate perfectly, I really want it, Allah," she concluded.
