Selfi LIDA Cries Inside the Plane After Hearing the Sudden News of Her Father's Death

Kapanlagi.com - Selfi Yamma's father or Selfi LIDA is reported to have passed away today, Sunday (2/2). Currently, Selfi is still at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten. Selfi's flight is scheduled to depart for Sulawesi at 09:00.

"No, our flight is at 9 o'clock tonight to Sulawesi. So earlier, we just arrived from Samarinda, and now we're still at Soekarno Hatta. After arriving from Samarinda, we landed at Soekarno Hatta (Jakarta)," said Jordan, Selfi's management, when contacted by phone on Sunday (2/2).

The news of her father's death was indeed sudden, especially for Selfi who had just gotten off the plane after a trip from Samarinda.

"We were the first to receive the phone call about Selfi's father's death. We received the call while we were still inside the plane waiting for it to be parked. So we immediately looked for tickets to Sulawesi and got them for the 9 o'clock flight," he continued.

The news of his father's death was deliberately hidden from Selfi. In fact, Selfi herself had no idea that her father had passed away.

"Yes, initially we kept this news a secret. But we were on the plane about to land at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, and suddenly she received a video, and she cried inside the plane," said Jordan.

"Initially, we didn't know what video she received or who sent it, even though we intended to keep it a secret until Selfi arrived home.

Furthermore, Jordan said that when Selfi received the video of her father's death, the LIDA singer tried to hold back her tears because she was still on the plane.

However, she couldn't hold back the sadness she felt at that time. Eventually, tears fell from her eyes.

"Of course, she felt sad and cried, trying to hold back, but how could she hold back when she was still on the plane," said Jordan.
