According to Ikke, his daughter and her fiancé prefer a simple series of events that focus solely on the essence, such as a religious ceremony.
"The kids want something simple, just a religious ceremony. The child getting married doesn't need to have those customs," he continued, mimicking his child's wishes.
Dira's wishes had made her parents confused. As parents, Ikke and Aldi feel that the traditional moment is a sacred part of letting go of their daughter.
"Yes, it makes the parents confused, when is our time, right? When is the sacred moment and how to let go of the child," he explained.
Although there was a debate, Ikke sees it as a touching compromise process. He understands the parents' desire to have a deep moment before truly letting their daughter go.
"It's a touching compromise, the parents think about how to have a deep moment before they let their child go. Yes, parents need a mellow space, what happens between the father and Dira," he said. "It's exciting, the father loves her so much," Ikke concluded with a smile.
