Following its success in the first season, the Indonesian Dangdut League (LIDA) is back and being held in 34 provinces. One of the participants showcased their talent in singing dangdut songs. Indosiar, known as the home for dangdut singers, successfully held the LIDA 2 auditions. Previously, LIDA received a prestigious award from the Indonesian World Records Museum as the "Talent Search Program with the Most Participants from Provinces". Enthusiasm of participants to give their best performance does not fade even though they have to wait for hours. Their motivation to become the champion of LIDA 2 strengthens them. This event is highly anticipated by fans of dangdut music in the country.
Hundreds of audition participants crowded Wisma Perdamaain Semarang which was used as the audition venue. From this audition, 5 participants will be selected and one participant will be chosen to represent Central Java Province. In addition to the enthusiastic participants, the local government also strongly supports this talent search event.
Participants who have singing talent in dangdut, both male and female, aged 15-25 years old, can directly come to the audition venue with their personal data and photo. Unlike the previous season, LIDA 2 is held more competitively by selecting Indonesian idols to represent their provinces and compete to become the champion.
Not inferior to other provinces, West Java also has promising dangdut singers who are ready to compete in LIDA 2. Bogor, known as the rainy city, becomes the witness of participant selection in West Java.
