Prior to participating in this D'Academy Asia 6 event, Iqhbal had participated in LIDA 2021 and won first place. Since then, his name has become more famous in the Indonesian dangdut industry.
Having the real name Rahmadonal M. Iqhbal but better known as Iqhbal LIDA. He is a singer from West Sumatra. Iqhbal is not only a dangdut singer, but also a doctor.
Currently, dr. Iqhbal is one of the representatives of Indonesia in the D'Academy Asia 6 event. He successfully made it to the Top 4 stage, KLovers.
Dr. Iqhbal's performances are always mesmerizing and receive incredible support from his fans. Especially his performance in the Top 4 of D'Academy Asia 6.
In this Top 4, all participants were challenged to duet with Lesti Kejora, the Indonesian dangdut star. Iqhbal and Lesti's duet performance of the song 'Sekali Seumur Hidup' received a standing ovation from all commentators.
"Dr. Iqhbal was born with a great voice," said General TNI (Ret.) Muhammad Andika Perkasa.
Although dr. Iqhbal's performance in the Top 4 was impressive. However, the judges decided that dr. Iqhbal had to be eliminated in the Top 4 and failed to enter the grand final of D'Academy Asia 6.
Dr. Iqhbal's score was the lowest compared to the other 3 academias and it has been confirmed that Melly Lee (Indonesia), Kier King (Philippines), and Lovely (Philippines) entered the grand final of D'Academy Asia 6.
