Story of Junior High School, Via Vallen Admits Often Hitching a Ride on a Truck When Going to and Returning from School

Kapanlagi.com - Via Vallen recently uploaded a photo of her student card from her junior high school days that she accidentally found. In the photo, young Via can be seen wearing a uniform and a white hijab, her real name, as well as her date of birth and former home address.

According to the information, the card was made when Via Vallen was studying in 9th grade or 3rd grade at SMP Iskandar Said Surabaya in 2004. And when she saw this card again, Via Vallen was surprised because she felt quite old.

"Oh my God, I found this. Oh God, I'm already old," Via Vallen wrote on her Instagram.

In her upload caption, Via Vallen also tells the story of her middle school days. She admitted that during her schooling in 2004, when going back and forth to school, she always hitched a ride on a truck to save her pocket money.

"In 2004, at a time when going to school and going home was hitching a ride on a truck from the corner near Anta Siwalan cinema, all the way to Kutisari bridge... Then I continued on foot to school, so that the money for the bus fare can be used for snacks," Via Vallen revealed.

2. Dressing Up Like a Boy

Via continued, during her back and forth journey to school on the truck, she always disguised herself as a boy. Yes, she always wore a t-shirt and pants and wore a hat to protect her hair.

"Fyi, when hitching a ride, I didn't wear a school uniform, instead I disguised myself as a boy (wearing a t-shirt + hat to tuck in my hair)," the singer of the song Sayang added.
