"Yes, I was summoned as a witness, it's just the usual online arisan scams. Actually, not only me, but there are also several other artists who were summoned, but as far as I know, they haven't come yet," said Rosa Meldianti.

1. Becoming a Witness Because of Endorsement

In addition, Meldi also stated the reason why she was called by the East Java Police. This 21-year-old girl revealed that she became a witness because she had been endorsed by a product currently being handled by the police.

"I have no involvement whatsoever, I was asked for a statement just because of endorsement, but there is absolutely no connection," she continued.

2. Confirmed by the East Java Police

Meanwhile, AKP Kurniawati Dewi Lestari, the investigator of the East Java Police, when contacted, confirmed Rosa Meldianti's statement that she was called as a witness in a case of online savings fraud.

Furthermore, the East Java Police will summon other endorsers for questioning. "Yes, it's true, this morning at 8 o'clock (examined). Called as a witness because of endorsement," said AKP Kurniawati Dewi Lestari.

"For the next (process), we will also summon the other endorsers," she added.
